François Noël a également publié une "suite", la "Muette ingrate" ; puis une "suite et troisième partie", la "Belle voilée". Ces deux pièces sont de 1650. La première a 7 pages ; la seconde 14. Tallemant des Réaux nous apprend qu'on appelait la "Belle gueuse" mademoiselle de Chemerault, fille d'honneur de la reine Anne d'Autriche, qui épousa ensuite le trésorier de l'épargne, de la Bazinière, et dont le nom appartient assez étroitement à l'histoire du cardinal de Richelieu.
